once upon a time… Our clothes didn’t fit.

(Shocking, right?)

it wasn’t for the reasons you might expect. We weren’t buying the wrong sizes. we weren’t rigid in our definition of style and unwilling to try new things. We simply realized a fundamental fact about the fast-fashion apparel filling every major retailer right now: Real people aren’t rectangle shaped, but most off the rack streetwear patterns are based off them!

Add on any concerns about androgynous presentation in clothing, fitting a post-top=surgery-body into cis-rectangle-body fast fashion, or learning one of us is violently allergic to synthetic fabrics? Finding clothing that felt good to our brains and bodies wasn’t just difficult, it became a crippling, daily struggle to even get dressed.

There had to be a better way, and we decided to bring it to our beloved baltimore. Tailoring and alterations for lgbtqia+ people where you not only know without a shadow of a doubt you are safe and affirmed, you also know you’re getting the lived experience of trans folx living right in your city alongside you.

As multi-disciplinary, nonbinary artists with backgrounds in costume design for drag, burlesque, and dancewear, we bring an attention to detail and an understanding of fit and styling for queer folks that can only be achieved within community. We can’t wait to help you feel your fits <3
