Nicholas D. Wolfwood Cosplay
February 2026
We love a new take on fan favorite characters, so when our client Silva approached us to create their newest cosplay set for upcoming conventions, we jumped at the opportunity. Silva specifically wanted a western aesthetic twist on the Trigun Stampede character Nicholas D. Wolfwood without losing immediate character recognition.
Taking inspiration from fan art as well as the original, we sketched a look made from pebbled black vinyl, white faux leather fringe trim, and silver rivet details. While the jacket has traditional moto styling, oversize cuffs, a lay-open front vs zip closure, and tapered shoulder to waist ratio helped us stay true to western styling.
Nicholas D. Wolfwood’s iconic punisher symbol was first sketched out, then meticulously cut by hand. The pieces were individually stitched to create the incredible nameplate and imagery on the jacket back panel.
The entire jacket is fully lined, seams finished with white or black faux leather piping, and then turned and top-stitched for a stunning finish.
For the cosplay’s chaps, we hand cut the white yokes and continued the stud and white faux-leather fringe details from the jacket. Burnished silver skull-shaped conchos offer an adjustable back waistband,
while coordinating silver buckle & fastener closure adorns the front. The chaps are stunningly shaped for the wearer, but remain able to be easily worn over a variety of pants and boot styles comfortably.
